Hudson, Quebec

Hudson, Quebec is an unusual village.

Although its population is only 5,000 people, and it is know as "quaint" (see city hall right), it has a flamboyant mixture of high powered executives and successful self-employed people. Although everyone knows everyone, they are also referred to as "the Internet guy" or the "value engineer."

Hudson is also set in glorious physical surroundings. Located on the beautiful Lake of Two Mountains and the Ottawa River, there is also a mountain mere minutes away. People come from miles around for "leaf drives" in the fall and to mill through its famous antique stores and weekend markets in the summer.

That's what I love most about Hudson... how its charm and attractions change with the season. It has so many fun things to do all year round for everyone....
